Ananke

Novel based on a true story. The protagonist (Mélida), who was deprived of her liberty and sold by a gang of pimps, manages to escape after the fourth attempt and is assisted by the Prosecutor's Office for Sexual Crimes in Mexico City, where she was convinced to file a complaint that would guarantee her and her family's safety.

As she does so, she relives the sordidness, the inhumane treatment of which she was a victim and the crimes she witnessed. She seems to put her life in order, she reunites with her son and resumes her studies; but Ananké, goddess of misfortune, is not willing to let her escape.



Gilda Salinas. Making literature is the route I chose to channel my artistic need to transmit, which also implies a delight. And when the clamp closes and the reader acknowledges receipt, my creative expectation is fulfilled. So welcome, welcome, to this universe of narrative that, in many cases, will take us through the routes of history.
