Kisses of Fire

Half-demon Aruni prefers to live among the people of her human father. So far, she has been successful in blending with the humans. But her carefully constructed life disintegrates when she meets Ilvio, a member of the mer-elves tribe. Fire clashes with water, and in an instant their hearts are burning with love. A love neither the elves nor the demons will tolerate. Is their love doomed to failure?



I was born in the north of Germany, but due to my father's job, we moved around a lot. So I lived in Portugal for three years, then we went back to Germany, then we moved to England. There we stayed for seven years before moving back to Germany. I still live there today, in a small village in the countryside.



When I was about twelve, I started writing my first novel, unfortunately I never finished it and can't find it today. After that I started a few other novels and wrote one short story. Only at the age of thirty I began writing seriously and soon wrote "The End" under my first completed novel ever. This book was published in November 2014 (Die Nacht der Elemente – Mondtochter, which can be roughly translated as: "The Night of the Elements – Daughter of the Moon" under the name Lia Haycraft). I have written all my novels in German so far. My first published book was "Feuerküsse", published in December 2013, which I then translated. The English version was published 2015. Apart from my novels, two short stories have been printed.



Because I really love England, there are plenty of English places in my books, but now lots of my characters live in Cologne, too.
