Mariano Villarreal,España, 1976Licenciado en informática. Desde 2003 es administrador de Literatura Fantástica, un portal web dedicado a la información y crítica de novedades de género fantástico y de ciencia ficción en España. Es miembro de Terbi - Asociación Vasca de Ciencia Ficción, ha sido responsable de una colección de narrativa en la editorial PortalEditions, colaborador habitual del sitio Literatura Prospectiva, y durante cinco años administrador de los Premios Ignotus de la Asociación Española de Fantasía, Ciencia Ficción y Terror, en la que llegó a desempeñar diversos cargos. Ha seleccionado las antologías Visiones 2006 y Fabricante de sueños 2000 (en colaboración), ha publicado artcículos y reseñas en numerosos medios especializados (BEM, Solaris, Hélice), además de ser jurado de premios como el Xatafi-Cyberdark de la crítica especializada en literatura fantástica, El Certamen Internacional de Novela Fantástica Los Sueños del Espantapájaros o El Melocotón Mecánico.
