After accompanying the new knights of the Liberion Order on a training expedition to Hugenbite and the northern mountains, Beryl is finally back in Baltrain. He’s been on several long trips over the past few months, so he’s hoping to settle into his regular routine of teaching at the order and the magic institute. Unfortunately, he soon receives news that Surena Lysandra—his former pupil and the strongest adventurer around—has gone missing! With assistance from Allucia and the adventurer’s guild, Beryl heads straight to her last known location deep in the Aflatta Mountain Range. After a quick search, he manages to reunite with Surena, but he also encounters another, older acquaintance: the named monster who nearly killed him during his youth. Only man or beast will remain standing in the end—it’s about time for Beryl to settle this old grudge!
