The Breakup Bookshop
The bookish small town Scottish enemies-to-lovers romcom perfect for 2026
A gorgeous, bookish Scottish small-town romance for fans of Emily Henry and Catherine Walsh
________________________
After losing her job, her flat and her boyfriend in the city, Ava Campbell is in crisis.
Heartbroken and broke-broken, Ava impulsively decides to move to Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands to open a bookshop. There, she discovers she's not the only one who's hurting - and maybe the bookshop can help. Ava opens her doors to form the village's first breakup support group, which turns out to be a surprise hit with the locals.
But not all her new neighbours are so thrilled. Rory MacGregor, the annoyingly handsome owner of the next-door DIY shop, doesn't think Ava or her bookshop will last the season.
Ava is determined to prove him wrong, but she has books to balance and hearts to mend - her own would be a good start...
