Laura is a children's author, poet and teacher from South Wales. She has been shortlisted for the Firefly Children's Book Prize and published by Firefly Press and Gomer. She is a regular contributor to Giglets online library and her poetry has been featured in journals and anthologies. 

Laura has worked as a primary school teacher for over twenty-five years. She lives by the sea in Llantwit Major with her boys and her cat.
