Parkinson's Lyrical and Miscellany

At the age of 48, Johannes Urs Frahammer was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He took this devastating news as an opportunity to start writing. Initially alongside a full-time job, his project really took off when he became unable to work at the end of 2022. Today, twelve years after his initial diagnosis, he has almost 20 poems to his name – including three about his illness – and four short stories. His Parkinson's poems in particular reveal his gallows humor and unbroken courage to face life. Even a disease considered incurable cannot slow him down. His repertoire has something for every taste.
