Beyond the Eclipse
He's spent his whole life running. She's the one thing he can't outrun...
Winner of the Will Rogers Medallion for Western Fiction
Colorado is holding its breath for the solar eclipse of the century — but Caleb Marlowe didn't ride into Elkhorn for the view. There's a plot to kill the most powerful judge in the territory, a ghost from his darkest past closing in fast, and the one woman he never deserved standing square in his path.
Sheila Burnett has worked too hard building her life in Elkhorn to let Caleb Marlowe shake her foundations again. She knows exactly who he is. What he costs. She's made her peace with it.
Or so she tells herself.
When the threat against the judge turns deadly and Caleb is forced to face the secret that has shadowed him since boyhood, it's Sheila who sees the truth — a man of fierce loyalty and a heart he's never once let himself use.
Set against the breathtaking drama of a historic Rocky Mountain eclipse, Beyond the Eclipse is a sweeping Western romance about second chances, buried ghosts, and a love stubborn enough to outlast every lie a man tells himself.
Some shadows you can't ride away from. Some women you can't forget. And some eclipses change everything they touch...
