Beyond the Christmas Star
Where the Heart Finds Home
He's finally ready to put down roots. She may be the reason why.
Caleb Marlowe has never wanted much — just land to call his own and the quiet life he's earned with callused hands and a stubborn will. For the first time, that life feels within reach. The ranch is nearly built. The land is his. And somewhere beneath the silence, he's begun to admit there's one woman he wants beside him when the dust finally settles.
Then it all burns down.
His partner is behind bars...again. His cattle are gone. His ranch lies in ruins. And the powerful men bankrolling the railroad will stop at nothing to drive Caleb off his land for good.
But this time, he won't face the storm alone.
Sheila Burnett has never walked away from the people she loves — and she won't start now. Standing with Caleb means risking everything: her heart, her future, the safe life she'd so carefully planned. Yet as a brutal winter descends on Elkhorn, she begins to understand that home was never a place. It was always a person.
Together, they'll face old enemies, fight for the town that has become their family, and hold on to the fragile, breathtaking hope growing between them — because on the frontier, the greatest act of courage has never been facing danger.
It's letting yourself love someone who's worth the risk...
A sweeping historical western romance of grit, redemption, holiday warmth, and a love strong enough to outlast the darkest winter.
Reimagined and expanded from the original Caleb Marlowe series, previously published by Sourcebooks.
