Jacob: I’ve been preparing for this for years. And finally, the time has come: from now on, I’ll be attending the School for Guardians and Protectors. That also means I must not bring shame upon my family. Or else… That threat hangs in the air as I say goodbye to my parents. What it means for me is clear: I’m all too aware of the dark side of my parents. The only problem I’ll have to face is the recurring nightmares. During the day, I always have myself one hundred percent under control. But at night, my subconscious takes over and torments me with my darkest memories. Kyle: Hi, I’m Kyle, and I love The Three Musketeers. With that one sentence, I’m branded as the oddball at the School for Guardians and Protectors. There seems to be only one person here who is somewhat more open to these fantasies: a grumpy guy named Jacob Warren. But he’s hiding a dark secret. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances, he ends up revealing it to me. And I betray him. The only person who ever wanted to be my friend now wants me dead. Haven’t you always wondered where the deep-seated hostility between Kyle Brewster and Jacob Warren comes from? Do you want to know why Jake despises the rulers’ children so much? Find out here!
