Even before she learned to read, Verena received a thick fantasy novel from her grandmother to "practice." This set her path early, and she was rarely found without a book once she could decipher the letters. Not long after, she began creating her own worlds and weaving stories within them. Before she knew it, she had laid the foundations for a good dozen books. When she's not writing or reading, she enjoys watching the latest horror movies. She lives and works in the charming region of Bavaria.
