My only friend nearly killed me in a fit of blind rage. I couldn’t even blame him. More than anything, I wished I had died. At least then I would be with my family again. The Dark Guardians nearly wiped out my entire family in a lightning-fast attack. Our secret is no longer a secret. The mission entrusted to us so many centuries ago by the Dragon of Light and the Wind Lords of the Jiyuu Clan has failed. The Dark Guardians plundered the treasury. My father and my brothers died with honor defending the artifacts. Their deaths may now mean the downfall of our world. I am the only one left of my family to right the wrongs of our past. I won’t be able to do it alone. Will I succeed? Even with the Guardians assigned to stand by my side, it won’t be easy. Especially not with this little fawn who has turned my entire life upside down like a whirlwind. Find out how Kyle picks up the shattered pieces of his past.
