Claudia Durastanti is a writer, translator and cultural critic. She is the author of five novels including Strangers I Know, which was shortlisted for the Strega Prize and translated into twenty-one languages. Missitalia, her latest novel, won the Premio Mondello in 2024. Her work has appeared in the Paris Review, Apartamento, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere.
