After a scandal ends her teaching career, Genny Cole retreats to her parents' remote Appalachian farm, determined to spend Christmas snowed in, alone, and thoroughly miserable. No decorations. No carols. No people.

Instead she gets an angel crash-landing on her roof.

When something slams into the farmhouse in the middle of a blizzard, Genny finds an unconscious man with black wings bleeding into the snow. The stranger, Ash, remembers almost nothing, only that the sound of distant bells fills him with blinding rage and terror.

As the storm cuts off power, roads, and phone lines, Genny grudgingly offers him shelter. But Ash is no lost traveler. He's Seraphim, a warrior angel whose fall has drawn deadly hunters straight to her doorstep. The Bellringers, fanatics armed with enchanted bells, are using the storm as cover to close in and finish what they started.

Trapped together, Genny and Ash must turn the farm into a fortress and fight back with whatever they can find. With each attack, their uneasy truce deepens into something fiercer and far more dangerous than either of them planned on. Ash's memories begin to return; Genny's shattered faith - in herself, in others - is tested in the fire.

By the time dawn breaks on Christmas morning, the snow is soaked in blood, and Genny faces a choice that will change everything. She can go back to the life she knows - or trust the black‑winged seraph who crash‑landed into her world and offers her heart a second chance.

Seraphim Down is a paranormal romance about redemption, dangerous miracles, and the kind of Christmas you never forget.

Caryssa Cole writes paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and romance novels, and has dreamed of magical, mysterious worlds since childhood. A lifelong fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she believes that in every shadow lies a glimmer of light (and a good deal of sarcasm). She lives with her husband, two teenage sons, and two adopted cats in a climate far too hot for a full Gothic aesthetic—though she still dreams of black coats and heavy boots. Caryssa loves Tarot, even if the cards don't always reciprocate. In her books, she seeks emotion, magic, and characters who can entertain and move even the darkest night.
