Borai is unhappy because he has lost his favourite ball, and he needs your help to find it! Readers join the search, using clues to pick out the right red box with the number 3, checking whether the yellow ball with the blue triangle is inside, and looking under the bed, beside the bookcase, and near the banana tree. Just when it seems the ball is gone for good, a “meow” leads Borai to his cat, who has been playing with it all along.

This interactive bilingual picture book, presented in both English and Khmer, invites young children to answer questions on every page while practising colours, numbers, shapes, and position words such as “in,” “under,” “left,” and “beside.” Published by TukTuk, a nonprofit focused on early childhood education in Cambodia.
