Alberto Vázquez-Figueroa Rial (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, 11 October 1936) is a Spanish novelist, journalist and inventor, author of more than one hundred books. Former correspondent for La Vanguardia and Spanish Television, he is one of the most widely read contemporary authors in Spain and in the world.
