Jennifer Killick always wanted to be a writer, but really started when she applied for a Creative Writing MA at Brunel University, which is where she got the idea for her first book Alex Sparrow and the Really Big Stink. Since then she has gone on to write many books, including two more in the Alex Sparrow series; Mo Lottie and the Junkers; Bookbuzz bestseller Crater Lake and sequel Crater lake Evolution, and the Dreadwood series. Jennifer lives in Uxbridge, in a house full of children and animals.
