During his career, the author Sarfuddin Ahmed was a German language teacher at the Modern Language Institute of Dhaka University Bangladesh and later the head of the language department at Goethe-Institut, Dhaka. In his student life, he completed three-year German teacher training course at Goethe-Institut Munich from 1980 to 1982, and later studied German language and literature and German linguistics at the University of Munich (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, LMU) Germany from 1986 to 1994 and obtained M.A. degree. This book is written in light of his long teaching experience.



Part 1

This section describes the German alphabet and which letter is used for which sound.

Part 2

Here are the grammatical topics of Level A1. First there is an index from which one can get an overall picture of the whole section.

Part 3

Here are the grammatical topics of Level A2. At the beginning of this part there is also an index from which one can get an overall picture of the whole section.

Part 4

The fourth part describes the grammatical topics of Level B1. Like the other two sections, there is also an index first, from which an overall picture of the whole section can be obtained.

Part 5

In the fifth part, a list of about 6000 German words from Stufe A1 to Stufe B1 with their English meaning has been added in German-English alphabetical order.

Part 6

In the sixth part, words of fifth part have been arranged in English-German alphabetical order.

Part 7

In seventh part, words from Level A1 to Level B1 are arranged according to their vowel structure, that means, words that have phonetic and structural similarities, such as "baden, fahren, haben, landen, machen, raten, sagen, tragen" etc., are arranged together here.

Part 8

This section describes the process of learning words faster and easier with the help of mnemonics.

Part 9

In this section a table of "Präsens, Präteritum, Konjunktiv-II and Partizip-II" forms of irregular verbs has been added.
